Description

In 1900 Greek sponge divers found the first archaeological wreck dated to approx 700 BCE in the sea. Expeditions brought up statues and a few pieces of encrusted bronze. Gear teeth on some pieces was an astonishing discovery. Counting the gear teeth showed that they were capable of tracking the motion of the Sun and the Moon. David Wolfe will discuss the discovery, the research into this device, the realisation of how incredible this machine is.
