GREAT INTERPRETERS (Fridays 20:00-22:00)
Great Interpreters takes an in-depth look each week at a specific artist and his or her recordings. On Friday February 17, Dragana Jevtovic focuses on the Hungarian composer and pianist Thomas Rajna (pictured left) who is based in Cape Town. Rajna will join Dragana in the studio to chat about the works being played: a selection of standard piano repertoire as well as his own music. Don’t miss what promises to be a treat for classical music lovers.

MATINÉE (weekdays 14:00-16:00)
Sheila Chisholm, who presents on alternate Thursdays, is featuring the great Russian cellist Mstislav Rostropovich in her February and March programmes. He is the soloist in Dvorak’s Cello Concerto on February 9, Schumann’s Cello Concerto on February 23, Tchaikovky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme on March 8 and Miaskovsky’s Cello Concerto on March 22.

SING, SWING & ALL THAT JAZZ/
JUST JAZZ (Saturdays 17:00-18:00)
Henry Holloway will present the following artists (among others), during his fortnightly programmes in February: Artie Shaw, Jimmy Dorsey, Tommy Dorsey, Eubie Blake, Fats Waller, Chick Webb, Glenn Miller, Red McKenzie, Jonny Cooper, Jeff Weiner, Japie Human, Riverboat Jazz Band, Earl Hines, Buddy DeFranco, Tex Beneke, Harry James, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Frankie Laine, George Gershwin/Paul Whiteman, Albie Louw and Nico Carstens.
   On the alternate Saturdays, Denoon Sieg carries on with the As and starts on the Bs in his “Jazz A to Z” in the programme Just Jazz.
