Maxx & Love hit the SA music scene in 2022. With their music roots widely spread in rock, folk and blues, their favourite genre became based on old time Delta blues. They modelled their sound, instruments and image to closely represent that of the Blues masters like Muddy Waters, and this songwriting and performance style became a trademark. High energy, raw talent and intelligent musicality created a devoted following – they are a top performing duo in Jhb. Their current tour to CT and EP release is long awaited. Alma Cafe is a huge fan, and super excited to host them !!
