Description
The Armstrong Trio with Jeffrey Armstrong (violin), Nicola McLachlan (cello) and Henley Jun (piano), brings a programme of three great works of the Romantic Canon together to offer the audience a unique perspective on chamber music making through unusual duo and trio constellations and interaction between the instruments.
The programme includes Schubert’s Sonata in A major for violin; Debussy’s Sonata in d minor for cello and piano and Mendelssohn’s d minor trio, where all 3 instruments are given the chance to sing freely, but is is the pianist who now has a chance to shine!
