The Cape Wind Ensemble is demonstrating its versatility at their next concert on Sunday, September 20, at the St. Martini Church in Cape Town, when 10 of its members are presenting programme of magnificent chamber music.
On offer are three of the most popular movements from Handel’s Water Music Suite followed by the lesser known but exhilarating Sinfonietta no. 1 in F major, Op. 188 by romantic composer Joachim Raff. The final item of the programme is the renowned Serenade for Winds op. 44 by Antonin Dvorak.
