The Cape Town Concert Series has celebrated over 70 years of music making with more than 1000 solo and chamber music recitals. This October they celebrate a brand-new composition by Hendrik Hofmeyr written especially for this Piano Quartet featuring Peter Martens on cello, Suzanne Martens on violin, Maya Egashira on viola and pianist Jose Dias.

The Piano Quartet by Hendrik Hofmeyr is framed between two iconic chamber quartets –
Mozart’s Piano Quartet Nr.1 and Schumann’s Piano Quartet in E flat major

The concert starts at 11am in the Baxter Concert Hall.
