Description
Nikk Brighton’s talk – EDIBLE WEEDS AND WILD IDEAS – will inspire you to live more locally and to look differently at your own patch of the planet. She believes reconnecting to wildish places and the nutrient-dense food and plant medicine that is growing all around us and is vital for human health.
Nikki is well known in the Midlands for her passion for the environment. She is a weed eater, writer, activist and speaker who grew up in Pietermaritzburg but currently lives in Howick, Kwa-Zulu Natal where she forages rather than grows, re-wilds rather than gardens, hosts weed walks at Food Fest
