Description
CT Tango Ensemble – live at Woordfees, Stellenbosch.
CT Tango Ensemble brings us another musically evocative show exploring the music of Argentine composer & Bandoneón virtuoso Astor Piazzolla. He created a whole new musical genre based on Argentina’s national dance. Come and discover the man whose life story was, in his own words, ‘one of both angels and demons’. Besides some of Piazzolla’s most iconic works you can expect entire “Suite del Angel” and “Suite del Diablo”.
Stanislav Angelov – Bandoneon/Accordion
Petrus de Beer – Violin
Albert Combrink – Piano
Donat Pellei – Double Bass
