Description
UCT-Alessandro Baricco Opera lecture recital. Presented in South Africa for the first time, the event brings together opera, literature and storytelling, as Baricco takes audiences on a journey through the history of opera, accompanied by live performances of some of its most celebrated arias.
Alessandro Baricco is one of Italy’s most internationally celebrated contemporary writers, whose work spans literature, theatre, film, music and opera. His books have been translated into more than 40 languages, with several adapted into major international films.
