Spring Symphonies at the CIty Hall open with distinguished conductor Daniel Raiskin on the podium and pianist Leo Gevisser, who will perform the Ravel Piano Concerto. Also on the programme are Don Juan, the tone poem by Richard Strauss, Kelly Marie Murphy’s Dark Night, Bright Stars, Vast Universe and Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky. John Woodland will give a pre-concert talk. The dress rehearsal is open at 11.
